The director tries to find her uncle Roniel after twenty-seven years with no contact. Her uncle now is named Luma, a transvestite, hairdresser and performer. Cinema mediates the relation between them and making a movie becomes the reason for the encounter. However, the director raises the question whether the quest for her uncle Roniel, now aunt Luma, takes place for emotional reasons or if it aims only to produce the movie. Little by little, aunt and niece develop a feeling of affection with glimpses of tension due to the their sincere conversations. On the eve of the scheduled beginning of the shootings, aunt Luma gave up to take part on it and later on agreed once again. The movie reveals, then, other dramatic and aesthetical contours that put in dialogue the childhood memories of the director about her then-uncle with the recently discovered personality of her aunt.
