Synopsis:

Lola is 27 years old and on the go to the Berlin club scene, which she wants to stir up with her best friend as Djane duo “Brothers”. Her heart beats for good techno music and excessive dancing, but she also longs to “live on a lonely island with a suitcase full of books.” She lives unhealthily and against her organic rhythm; she drinks and smokes too much, has the bass in her ear all the time, and yet claims moving the turntables is for her like “yoga for others”. She left the so-called normality, the bourgeois family home in Rheinland-Pfalz behind and is reluctant to visit there. She hasn’t seen her mother for over a year, the relationship has been shattered since her father left the family for another. In the heart of Berlin, Lola is happy to have fled the local “madhouse” and to find their own answers and her peace.
