Synopsis:
This Documentary is about the affects of War on displaced Children that are now living in tents in Iraqi Kurdistan, Each of them have their own story, This is Shindar’s story
Shindar is a 14 year old boy from Western Kurdistan (Rojava), He was forced to leave his small town in Syria because of War, He is now living in the Rojava refugee camp in Arbat, 20 km from the city of Slemani in the Kurdistan region in Iraq, He is suffering from a blood disease called Thalassemia , type major, his father does not have the ability to hear or speak and He is left behind in Syria.
War has made Shindar and thousands of other children leave everything behind, their homes, their toys, their education, for Shindar even his father, what has not left Shindar and accompanied him to Southern Kurdistan is his illness.
