Abdi is a Galician 10 year old boy who feels the need to delve into their African roots, as did a year before his brother Abdul. That’s why the two travel together to Ethiopia to immerse themselves in their home country and learn more about their ethnicity, the Gurage. The documentary is spinning the successive adventures trip, a “road movie” that will unmount the occidentais platitudes about this vast country and ending where the homo sapiens stood up and began to take the first steps: the Danakil desert.
